Cork Flooring
Cork flooring is quiet warm and cushioning. We have a great selection of cork flooring for you to choose from. We have cork floors that look like cork, cork floors that combine the acoustic quality's of cork with the durability of vinyl and cork floors that have been printed to look like wood or tiles.

When we think of cork we usually think of wine, but it also makes great cork flooring. It is made from the waste produced in making wine corks. Cork is a rapidly renewable resource because only the bark is harvested from the tree, and this can be done every 9 years. Cork floors are very popular in recreation rooms, basements and kitchens. We have a large selection of samples of cork flooring in our Vancouver showroom.

Cork Flooring FAQ
Is Cork flooring durable?
Cork's unique cellular structure is made up of millions of tiny air-filled cells that act like natural cushions. When compressed by footsteps or the impact of dropped objects, it flexes under pressure and naturally springs back to its original shape.
Is cork flooring waterproof?
Cork is naturally water resistant. Some of our lines of cork flooring have the cores that are also waterproof.
Where are your cork floors from?
All our cork floors are made in Europe. Primarily Portugal.
Does Cork discolour?
Cork is similar to wood and can change colour with light. Wood often deepens in colour where cork will lighten. The cork product that is stained a colour resists fading more then the natural options.
Is cork sustainable?
Cork is the renewable bark of the Cork Oak (Quercus suber). Sourced from traditional, family-owned forests in Portugal and Spain, where the bark is carefully harvested by hand approximately every nine years without harming the tree. Because the bark naturally regenerates, cork is one of the world's most sustainable and environmentally responsible flooring materials.
