Is Linoleum sustainable?

Linoleum is very sustainable, made from natural renewable ingredients like wood flower, resin, jute, limestone and natural pigments.

What is the difference between Linoleum and Vinyl?

Linoleum is made from natural ingredients and is considered biodegradable. Vinyl's main ingredient is polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin this is not biodegradable. Vinyl flooring is usually made up of multiple layers featuring a Stone Plastic Composite (SPC) or Wood Plastic Composite (WPC).

Is Linoleum durable?

Linoleum flooring can last from 20-30 years. The pattern and colour run though the material extending it's life. Regular maintenance and proper installation will extend the life of the floor. Forbo's warranty on the Cinch Lock Seal product for residential application is 25 year finish and lifetime structural.

Is Linoleum good for indoor air quality?

Yes made from natural ingredients Linoleum is healthy for your indoor air quality. It is free of added harmful chemicals like PVC, phthalates, and formaldehyde making it a good choice for any room in your home.

Can you ship Linoleum to me?

At Greenworks we ship the Marmoleum products across Canada. In some rural areas we may ship to a depot and not directly to you. Please reach out if you have questions.
