Collection: Le Village Collection by Sandberg

Our collection Le Village pays homage to the Béarn village Montfort and its petit stone château, home to the talented interior designer, writer, and photographer Sara Silm. The collection also celebrates the connection between the Swedish royal family, the region, and Sandberg as a purveyor to the royal court. It's here that today's King Carl XVI Gustaf's origins can be traced to Jean Bernadotte, who was born in the region's capital city Pau.

We go through numerous sketches and ideas for every design you see until we have reached perfection and that unique Sandberg expression and sustainable color palette.

Our designs carry names because they all have interesting stories to convey about people and places that inspired us when creating them. The inspiration for both colour and design often comes from the Swedish landscape and the nature surrounding us.

Our patterns also pay homage to our historical and cultural heritage. We often find ourselves standing in the old archive with designs from the past, finding inspiration in the present to create new and timeless expressions that will last for generations.

Our passion for our work is something that was noticed when we were appointed Royal Court Supplier, a title that stands for Swedish quality and Scandinavian design of the highest class and has been awarded an AAA rating.

Sandberg Wallpaper was founded by the Sandberg family and is now part of Gimmersta Group which has specialized in wallpapers since the 1920s. Our offices are situated in Borås, Sweden from where we operate worldwide.

The love of craftsmanship is evident in every line and brushstroke we make to create beautiful and sustainable designs.
